We are committed to ensuring the privacy and security of our users' information.

2. Scope of Data Collection and Methodology

Our Service utilizes Google OAuth for user authentication and account creation. We strictly limit data collection to the minimum required information necessary to provide our core services.

We collect and process the following data points:

• Google User Data (via YouTube API/OAuth):
  • unique_channel_id (The unique system identifier of your YouTube channel, used exclusively to link your account to our database).
  • Channel Name (Publicly available title of your YouTube channel).
  • Channel Thumbnail (Publicly available profile picture URL of your YouTube channel).
  • Subscriber Count (Publicly available metric of your YouTube channel).
• Account Authentication Data:
  • Email Address (Obtained independently during the secure sign-in process via our authentication provider, Supabase Auth. For absolute clarity, the email address is not retrieved or harvested through Google OAuth scopes or YouTube Data API services; it is either provided directly by the user or sourced from publicly available channel contact information, used solely for account identification and security management).
• Manually Curated Data:
  • Channel Country and Channel Language (These attributes are not requested or retrieved via any Google APIs. They are manually reviewed, evaluated, and categorized independently by the Service administrator).

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The collected data is processed strictly for the following purposes:

• To authenticate identity and facilitate secure user login.
• To establish a unique user profile in our database by mapping the unique_channel_id.
• To personalize the user interface by displaying the user's public channel name and thumbnail.

4. Cookies

tubecatalog.com does not create, store, or deploy any proprietary cookies on your device.

5. Data Storage, Protection, and Security

All user profiles and associated data are stored securely within our dedicated cloud database infrastructure provided by Supabase. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Non-Disclosure

We enforce a strict zero-sharing policy. We do not sell, trade, lease, rent, or transfer any user data (including data obtained via Google API Services) to any third-party entities, advertisers, or individuals under any circumstances. All processed data remains strictly internal to the operation of the Service.

7. User Rights and Data Deletion (Right to Erasure)

Users retain absolute ownership and control over their data. You have the right to request the complete removal of your information at any time.

Upon receiving a deletion request or account closure via the user panel, all associated data—including the unique_channel_id, channel name, thumbnail, subscriber count, email address, and manual categorizations—will be immediately, permanently, and irreversibly deleted within 48 hours from our active servers and databases.
